About dharavi.org

dharavi.org is a multimedia wiki website designed to gather information, images, and ideas on Dharavi in Mumbai. Dharavi is one of the largest incrementally developped settlement in Mumbai. dharavi.org offers a space to exchange knowledge and information about this multifaceted locality.

Contributions are welcome regardless of political views, background, language or place of residence. Anyone can log in and create pages. Is is open source and open to all. Contributions can be in English, Hindi and Marathi. Translations are also welcome. All the pages can be translated in Hindi using the google translate tool.

dharavi.org runs on deki, a system powered by a San Diego based startup. All the data uploaded on dharavi.org is backed-up and safe so please go ahead and contribute!
